Join Our Team in Hoofddorp Accounts Receivable Specialist JOB DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced AR Specialist to join our global accounts receivable team. Your main responsibility will be managing the collections process for a portfolio of customers in the Netherlands, improving cash flow, reducing payment delays, and ensuring outstanding customer service.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor AR aging of assigned accounts for timely invoice payments.
  • Communicate with customers via email and phone on overdue payments.
  • Manage customer relationships related to collections.
  • Resolve billing issues, reconcile discrepancies, and handle disputes.
  • Reduce delinquency for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to address A/R concerns.
  • Support AR Department with assigned tasks and duties.
  • Coordinate with AR Manager on customer accounts.
  • Manage 3rd Party Collection Efforts.
  • Assist in achieving collection strategies and KPIs.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in credit & collections with large accounts.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collections environment.
  • Knowledge of billing procedures and collection methods.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Experience with Enterprise ERP systems, preferably Netsuite.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent prioritization and multitasking skills.
  • Dedication to outstanding customer service.
  • Experience in process improvement.
  • High attention to detail.
