Job description
The Junior Originator role covering key ING clients in the The BeNeLux, Germany, and the Nordics will among other things comprise of the following aspects:
- Provide direct support to senior DCM originators with the aim to win mandates
- Being part of the deal team to support deal execution
- Taking the lead in producing content and presentation materials
- Coordinate and prepare market and pricing updates
- Liaise with other key ING stakeholders to identify opportunities, enhance internal cooperation and maximize client crossbuy (e.g. Sector Coverage relationship managers, other DCM departments, DCM Syndicate, Capital Structuring & Advisory, FM Research, FM Corporate Sales, FM Client Solutions Group)
- Support product development within DCM team (e.g. ESG bond structuring, Capital Structuring, Liability Management and Private Placements)
Who we are looking for:
A new colleague with the following knowledge and experience:
- Academic degree
- Relevant experience in Debt Capital Markets (i.e. analyst, internship position) or any other relevant corporate finance environment
- Basic knowledge of international bond markets and fixed income instruments
- Basic macroeconomic knowledge to 'read' the market and identify opportunities
- Fluent in English
- Excellent (English) writing skills
- Advanced Power Point and Excel skills
- Capable to read balance sheet, P&L and cash flow statements
- Demonstrable affinity with Corporate Finance and Financial Markets

The Debt Capital Markets group is comprised of several capital markets businesses: Financial Institutions Group, Investment Grade Corporates, High Yield, Sustainable Markets, EM and Capital Structuring & Liability Management.
The
FIG Capital Markets team in Amsterdam covers
investment grade bank & insurance bond issuers in the Northern European region.
The group works closely together with Relationship Managers, Corporate Finance, M&A and other product specialist within the ING network advising on a wide range of funding opportunities in the Capital Markets.
