About the role

We are looking for a hardworking, high energy, experienced Regional Director to lead our talented Amsterdam Acquisition Enterprise Sales team. In this role you will lead a team of experienced sales professionals to formulate and execute a sales strategy within assigned territories; driving revenue growth and customer acquisition. You will have a proven track record of leading, developing, and inspiring a high performing sales team.

As the Regional Director with a focus on recruitment, enablement and execution for the Acquisition Enterprise Sales team, you will drive revenue and assure the continued successful trajectory of the territory. What you will be doing

Have an in-depth and detailed understanding of MongoDB products to confidently provide mentorship for your Sales teamEnable, develop and empower your team to proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and build sales pipelineCoach the team to close business and to navigate complex negotiations and organizationsEvangelize our validated sales methodology MEDDIC and drive adoption and expertise within your teamActively recruit Account Executives for your team, according to MongoDB's hiring criteriaOnboard and ramp new Enterprise Account Executives and accelerate their productive capacityFoster strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunitiesRun weekly forecast meetingsScale, strategically plan, and develop sales territories

What you will bring to the table

3+ years of technology related sales management experience; with experience recruiting and managing a highly successful and talented direct sales team while driving them towards success5+ years field experience of quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market with a focus on closing net new logos Demonstrated ability to open new accounts and run a complex sales process A proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targetsAbility to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technologySkilled in building business champions
