Within ASML, the sector Development and Engineering is responsible for the specification, design, integration, qualification, and sustaining of all ASML products.

Job Mission In a dedicated team consisting of software integrators and testers you will test and deliver the software that plays a pivotal role in realizing the core functionality of our high end EUV machines.

You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, involving Software, Physics and Mechatronics. You will interact with colleagues in Development and Engineering but also with customer support and factory Departments .

Job Description As a software Tester you will test and validate SW solutions that increase the capabilities of our machines or that are essential for the creation of a new line of machines.

In addition you will support the long term development by taking responsibility for the definition and execution of our SW technology roadmap.

check project deliveries from project teams for completeness;
qualify the assembly against a production release;
manage the software archive and it's layout;
develop and optimize test processes and tools;
support developers with questions about Test tools or processes;
participate in the risk assessment of the changes made in the software;
determine which tests must be created and/or executed to qualify the software for release;
execute the defined test sets to qualify a SW delivery;
maintain and improve existing test scenarios as well as define, design and implement new tests scenarios and cases to increase the quality of SW deliveries;
where possible automate those tests that have shown their value.
Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Embedded Systems or equivalent.

Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience in large-scale software applications.
Python, shell) for (test) automation.
C, C++, Python, Linux Experience.
Test experience on system/assembly level.

Context of the position This position is available in the ESE Dose control group that is part of the Embedded SW EUV department of ASML's business function Development & Engineering – Software.

S. controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations. S. controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access U.S. controlled technology.
