Job Description
Are you passionate about dealing with a complex IT infrastructure? Do you enjoy solving incidents and find it exciting to brainstorm about (new) technical ICT solutions? If you also hold a completed HBO degree and are fully up to date with the latest IT solutions, then we are looking for you.

For the Shared Service Center (SSC) of Cosun, which is active for all Cosun locations (factories and offices), based in Dinteloord & Steenderen, we are searching for a customer-oriented colleague for the role of:







Senior Network Engineer



(32-40 hours)




What will you be doing?

  • Managing and monitoring the Cosun network infrastructure is your primary task. You pay attention to ticket notifications and prioritize them based on impact and urgency;
  • You systematically work on Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Where does the problem come from and how do we solve it?;
  • You handle the ICT and Cloud environment and maintain it. You identify bottlenecks, make improvement suggestions, and turn them into change requests;
  • Additionally, you collaborate in ICT projects involving technical implementations. For instance, a project related to opening up the firewall in the factory or implementing the enhancements suggested in a cybersecurity audit;
  • You engage in discussions with internal customers, focusing on translating functional requirements into technical solutions. You are accountable for your tickets, ensuring great communication with stakeholders and keeping your records organized.
Requirements

What do you bring?
  • A completed MBO 4+ / HBO education;
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Experience with Cisco network products is essential;
  • You are solution-oriented, analytically strong, excel in conceptual thinking, and have good planning & organizational skills;
  • You enjoy teamwork and have a customer-centric approach;
  • You take full responsibility for your tickets, ensuring meticulous record-keeping;
  • A driver's license and a car since you will be on the road 5% - 10% of your time, with some locations not easily accessible by public transport (generous €0.35 per kilometer reimbursement);
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English languages. (a Dutch language proficiency at least at a B1 level is mandatory);
  • Flexibility (24/7 standby duty once every 11 weeks), some actions planned outside office hours. This sums up to an average of 3 hours of work outside office hours);
