Imagine yourself working in security at two unique and international locations in Leiden. Are you a friendly security guard who enjoys interacting with visitors and colleagues but always prioritizes safety? Apply for the Security Guard position at Avery Dennison and Achmea. As a security guard at Avery Dennison and Achmea, you will combine the roles of a receptionist and security guard. Your duties include welcoming and registering visitors, issuing visitor passes, conducting regular control rounds, and preparing daily reports. Working at Avery Dennison and Achmea provides the opportunity to work at two international sites. You will always work with a colleague, creating a pleasant and dynamic work environment. Maintaining constant communication with the client is essential, making this role versatile and unique every day. Shifts vary between the two companies. At Avery Dennison, shifts are Monday to Friday between 06:30 and 21:00. For Achmea, you must be available 24/7 for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. A strong passion for the security profession and possession of a Level 2 security diploma are required. 24/7 flexibility for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Proficiency in both Dutch and English languages, with a preference for a First Aid certification. If you don't have this certification, you can obtain it through G4S. Ability to reach the location at any time. No criminal record (a Police background check will be conducted) and residency in the Netherlands for the past 5 years. Willingness to undergo a personality and capacity test based on gamification.
Candidate Profile
A strong passion for the security profession and possession of a Level 2 security diploma. 24/7 flexibility for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Proficiency in both Dutch and English languages, with a preference for a First Aid certification. If you don't have this certification, you can obtain it through G4S. Ability to reach the location at any time. No criminal record (a Police background check will be conducted) and residency in the Netherlands for the past 5 years. Willingness to undergo a personality and capacity test based on gamification.
Offered Benefits
A contract for 24 to 36 hours per week, with the possibility of a permanent position. Hourly wage ranging from €16.01 to €19.08 gross (as of January 1, 2024, according to the Private Security Collective Labor Agreement). Additional pay for irregular shifts up to 135% and up to 200% on holidays, on top of your salary. Reimbursement for travel expenses and parking facilities. Excellent pension plan. 13 monthly salaries (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Year-end bonus of 2.01%. 24 vacation days based on a full-time position.
