JOB PURPOSE

Supervising the daily activities of the sales team on the floor to ensure exceptional customer experiences, boost sales targets, and offer real-time guidance to enhance the overall Burberry Experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee, support, and inspire sales associates to consistently provide exceptional service to every client on the selling floor, acting as a quality control supervisor to ensure memorable customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with associates to enhance sales skills and achieve sales goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead a high-performance, customer-focused team. Provide coaching and feedback to ensure all customers receive the complete Burberry Experience aligned with brand strategies.
  • Manage customer flow to deliver optimal service and prevent any clients from being overlooked. Set high standards for excellent customer service.
  • Foster collaboration on the sales floor among sales associates, specialists, stock associates, and the operations team.
  • Provide immediate coaching and post-transaction feedback to associates, discussing successes and areas for improvement and ensuring follow-up actions are taken.
  • Develop and retain talented employees by acknowledging and rewarding performance through monthly development plans and annual reviews.
  • Lead by example by delivering the Burberry Experience to customers when necessary.
  • Collaborate with General Manager (GM), Store Manager (SM), and Sales & Productivity (S&P) to oversee Burberry Experience training in the store. Use regular meetings to reinforce key elements of the Burberry Experience through role-playing, providing guidance, and addressing individual challenges.
  • Work with store management to establish goal expectations. Provide formal performance feedback in conjunction with store management through monthly Burberry Experience Development Plans.
  • Resolve complex customer concerns and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • In the absence of store management, handle post-void transactions, authorize discounts, and employee sales.
  • Promote the digital experience in-store and utilize digital tools for communication when face-to-face interaction is not feasible.
  • Have a strong grasp of the business and effectively communicate needs and suggestions to advance the business.
  • Thorough understanding and consistent enforcement of company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including securing premises, merchandise, and following Point of Sale (POS) protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
PERSONAL PROFILE
  • Proficient in POS systems.
  • Prior experience with Apple mobile devices and adept at using digital tools.
  • 1-2 years of previous supervisory or managerial experience in retail sales.
