Benefits Manager

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Benefits Manager to join our team. This role focuses on our operations in Europe and directly reports to the Director of Total Rewards. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and deliver a benefits strategy that enhances employee attraction, retention, and engagement throughout Europe. The role involves designing and implementing cost-effective benefits programs, covering health and welfare, retirement, time off, and work/life balance. The ideal candidate will be based in the UK or Netherlands.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute comprehensive benefits programs and strategies for our European workforce, ensuring compliance with local regulations and market standards
  • Oversee all aspects of employee benefits, including health and wellness initiatives, retirement plans, insurance, and related benefits
  • Collaborate with internal teams like HR, Finance, and Legal to guarantee adherence to local laws and regulations
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis of benefits programs to maintain competitiveness and cost-efficiency
  • Offer guidance and assistance to employees on benefits-related matters, inquiries, and escalations
  • Engage with external vendors and brokers to negotiate contracts, maintain relationships, and ensure top-notch service delivery
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in benefits provision and administration, providing recommendations for ongoing enhancement
  • Prepare and present reports on benefits utilization, costs, and trends to senior leadership

What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6+ years of experience in employee benefits administration, preferably in a multinational setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management expertise in a business environment
  • Proficiency with HRIS required, Workday experience preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of benefits, leave, and accommodation regulations in European countries
  • Demonstrated experience managing benefits programs across multiple countries and locations
  • Proven ability to address complex benefit and leave-related issues
  • Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational, analytical, and reporting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, skilled at building relationships with employees and management at all levels
  • Adept at driving collaboration and developing effective solutions by engaging stakeholders
  • Capable of managing multiple assignments with diverse priorities and deadlines

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Travel requirement less than 10%
  • Access to reliable internet while working remotely
