European Business Process Owner Finance

The team

In this challenging and exciting role, you will be part of a team of three other EBPO's and will report to the manager of the team.

The team has divided the activities in the different pillars whereby you will be responsible for the Finance part of the business.

European Business Process Owner (EBPO) - Finance

This unique opportunity gives you the ability to deal with multiple disciplines, such as: process governance, the continuous improvement lifecycle of the Business Process Management (BPM) discipline and process standardization and harmonization across Europe.

Your stakeholders are the CFO Europe (dotted line), Finance Directors on regional and BU-level, Regional finance teams, the (local) finance teams from 8 Business Units and the Central IT team.

You will work with IT via the three pillars of Process, Data and System. Manage the end-to-end business processes
You are responsible for the end-to-end business process "Record-to-Report";
You contribute to the design of the Finance related processes, who are part of other end-to-end processes, like Order-to-Cash and Purchase-to-Pay and Operations;
You define, monitor and maintain the European template ensuring harmonization within the business.
Business Partnering
An Impact Analysis is part of the process from both IT as well as Business perspective;
You are leading the Finance process community, embedding trust and openess in order to create an environment of learning and knowledge sharing;
You drive an agenda of continuous improvement, assessing the quality of the process design on a regular basis collecting feedback from the business via the Process Communities;

You analyse and drive new business demands and changes to concrete business requirements together with the business and IT.

At least a Bachelor or Master degree in Business Economics, Finance or comparable;
You have several years of professional experience and expertise in all areas of controlling, finance and accounting
Strong sense and experience in change management and acting as a true business partner for the different stakeholders;
Expert knowledge in process blueprints for ERP, preferably SAP S/4 Hana;
prior experience to conduct business workshops;
You are fluent in English and preferably 1 or more other European Languages.
