We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team at APM Terminals Maasvlakte II. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in driving financial planning and control, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic support to our business leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the monthly closure of books, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Drive financial planning and control, ensuring alignment with organizational standards
- Oversee Business Unit (BU) One Stream reporting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with standards
- Reconcile the balance sheet, identifying and documenting any exposures
- Collaborate with the Junior Finance Business Partner, delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed
- Participate in engagement calls to mitigate balance sheet exposures, escalating issues as necessary
- Lead the book close process, ensuring execution of all activities and tasks
- Develop and maintain a performance management framework to drive organizational performance
- Drive Capex performance, working closely with budget owners and procurement to increase visibility and value
- Master's degree in Finance and Accounting, or equivalent, with strong knowledge of IFRS and financial applications
- 7+ years of experience in Finance, preferably in an international matrix organization
- Experience as a Business Partner, contributing to overall business direction and challenges
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate analysis
- High level of integrity, dependability, and results-orientation
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
- Working experience in Transport/Logistics/Inland Services/Container Port Operations is an advantage
