Senior Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team at APM Terminals Maasvlakte II. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the strategic direction of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the monthly closure of books, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Drive financial planning and control, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
- Oversee Business Unit (BU) One Stream reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Ensure the balance sheet is reconciled, with any exposures properly documented.
- Act as a strategic partner to our CFO, providing expert financial guidance.
- Collaborate with the Junior Finance Business Partner, delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed.
- Proactively participate in engagement calls to mitigate balance sheet exposures, escalating as necessary.
- Lead the book close process, ensuring seamless execution of all activities.
- Take ownership of regional balance sheet performance, driving improvement and accountability.
- Ensure the smooth running of business operations, delivering consistent and seamless service.
- Develop and implement a performance management framework to drive organizational performance.
- Drive Capex performance, working closely with budget owners and procurement to increase visibility and value.
- A degree in Finance and Accounting, with strong knowledge of IFRS and financial applications.
- At least 7 years of experience in Finance, preferably in an international matrix organization.
- Experience as a Business Partner, contributing to overall business direction and challenges.
- Effective analytical skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate analysis.
- High level of integrity, dependability, and results-orientation, with excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Working experience in Transport/Logistics/Inland Services/Container Port Operations is an advantage.
- IFRS knowledge and Capex management experience are highly desirable.
