Senior Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team at APM Terminals Maasvlakte II. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in driving financial planning and control, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and providing strategic support to our business leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the monthly closure of books, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial reporting.
- Drive financial planning and control, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and best practices.
- Oversee Business Unit (BU) One Stream reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with group guidelines.
- Reconcile the balance sheet, identifying and documenting any exposures or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the Junior Finance Business Partner, delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed.
- Participate in engagement calls to mitigate exposures and drive closure of open items.
- Lead the process of activities during book close, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of regional balance sheet performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Drive the smooth running of the business, ensuring consistent and seamless service delivery.
- Develop and implement performance management frameworks to drive organizational performance and delivery.
- Lead Capex performance, driving visibility and value through direct follow-up with budget owners and procurement teams.
- A degree in Finance and Accounting, with strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
- At least 7 years of experience in Finance, preferably in an international matrix organization.
- Experience as a Business Partner, contributing to overall business direction and challenges.
- Effective analytical skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
- High level of integrity, dependability, and results-orientation, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working experience in Transport/Logistics/Inland Services/Container Port Operations is an advantage.
- IFRS knowledge and Capex management experience is highly desirable.
