The Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI) is a global volunteer-led organization that focuses on using blockchain technology in the fight against climate change.
What will you do?
We are seeking a dedicated VOLUNTEER who approaches work methodically, conducts independent research and analysis, engages with stakeholders, and forms strategic partnerships to advance the BCI's mission.
Responsibilities:
- Support research for working group members in areas such as renewable energy, carbon trading, forest monitoring, and blockchain technology
- Conduct primary and secondary research, and publish high-quality reports
- Identify partnership opportunities
- Attend conferences to showcase research findings and insights
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent English writing skills
- Organizational skills
- Presentation skills
- Knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish is a plus
Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- In-depth knowledge of climate change, climate finance, and blockchain technology
- Familiarity with GIS tools like ArcGIS, ERDAS IMAGINE, etc.
Education & Experience:
- Relevant degree or training in the field
- Experience in producing research outputs and reports
