We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Research Associate Lead to join our team at Edwards Lifesciences. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating clinical studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing guidance and support to study teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate clinical studies, including planning, execution, and closure.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines.
- Provide guidance and support to study teams, including principal investigators, clinical research coordinators, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct site management activities, including site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits.
- Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and medical writing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including principal investigators, site staff, and regulatory agencies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in clinical research.
- Develop and deliver training programs for study teams and other stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as life sciences, healthcare, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in clinical research, including experience in a lead or management role.
- Proven expertise in clinical research operations, including study planning, execution, and closure.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including GCP and ICH guidelines.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with electronic data capture systems.
- Experience with clinical trial management systems.
- Certification in clinical research, such as CCRA or CCRP.
