Job Purpose and Impact

The static Reliability Engineer will apply technical knowledge to deliver continuous improvement in asset reliability through the detection and elimination of defects. By maintaining, evaluating and improving the plant's maintenance reliability programs, while ensuring safety and food-safety in areas. In this role, you will partner with the team to ensure the fulfillment of reliability engineering strategies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Implement moderately complex reliability excellence activities and identify and prioritize reliability engineering value creation opportunities.
  • Execute the development, design and installation of predictive maintenance programs and technology in alignment with the area procedures.
  • Prepare technical reviews of moderately complex projects and collaborate with related areas on new equipment reliability specifications.
  • Perform the identification and elimination of bad actors and the optimization of equipment availability.
  • Collaborate with and provide guidance to maintenance repairs and production in reliability-related processes and the identification of critical spares.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
  • Fluency in English and Dutch

Preferred Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge of the application of reliability tools.
  • Knowledge in maintenance process management.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience creating complex tests and analysis.
  • Have advanced knowledge of the most common PM and PdM technics.
  • Have advanced knowledge of vessel design according to ASME codes.
  • Have advanced with Dutch Steam Vessel legislation.
  • Have advanced knowledge of maintaining and improving high-speed rotating equipment.
  • Have advanced knowledge of maintaining and improving ( agricultural – food solids) transport systems.
  • Have advanced knowledge of civil constructions applied in food processing plants.
  • Have advanced knowledge of maintaining pressure/vacuum safety release systems
  • Have advanced knowledge of process and utility pipeline design.
  • Have advanced knowledge of corrosion detection, protection and prevention systems.
  • Have basic knowledge of materials applied in the agricultural/food industry.
