What Is the Role About? Coordinates and supervises installation or commissioning activities, leading and advising a team of qualified technicians, ensuring adherence to processes and procedures.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Quality and EHS (20%): Actively contribute to EHS onsite, provide a suitable work environment, ensure adherence to defined guidelines, processes, and procedures for the installation or commissioning team assigned. Provide active feedback to the project manager/bus bar project team on improvement items, contribute to lessons learned sessions, and initiate improvements related to site activities.
    • Site installation works (15%): Execute installation works or guide them. Coordinate installation or commissioning activities performed by a team of technicians, and control execution according to organizational guidelines.
    • Testing and commissioning (15%): Coordinate site deliveries of all equipment, including quality checks, in consultation with the assembly team. Coordinate and assist with testing and commissioning activities on-site.
    • Budget (10%): Basic knowledge of contracts and scope of supply. Expedite additional works, record them, and align with the project manager/bus bar engineers or project team.
    • Planning (10%): Deliver input for site planning, schedule installation works for a technical discipline, and consult with the assembly team or project manager/bus bar project team. Plan and allocate resources from the assembly team and contribute to scheduling site assembly team resources.
    • Organization and communication (10%): Maintain daily contact with the employer/bus bar project team organization. Be the on-site contact person for customers, lead, develop, and motivate a group of dedicated qualified technicians to achieve set targets.
    • Technical design (10%): Clarify technical issues with the bus bar project team. Be responsible for the commissioning scope within specified quality and safety requirements.
    • Project risks and opportunities (5%): Identify and report project risks and opportunities, avoid failure costs.
    • Information and documentation (5%): Be responsible for processing and documenting change requests on-site, perform the redlining of documentation according to the as-built implementation.
What Are the Requirements?
  • Fluency in English, Dutch proficiency is highly appreciated.
  • Education: MBO in Electrical engineering.
  • Professional Experience: 3 years in project (site) experience and 2 years in Medium Voltage.
  • Skill Set:
    • PC Software and tooling – Basic.
    • Knowledge of components and systems – Advanced.
    • Installation work process – Advanced.
    • Testing and commissioning – Advanced.
    • Electrical safety – Advanced to Expert.
    • Project Management – Basic.
    • Commercial competence – Basic.
