Functieomschrijving

What will you be doing?

Manages and oversees Installation / Commissioning activities, leads, and provides guidance to a team of skilled technicians, ensuring compliance with processes and protocols.

Responsibilities:

Quality and EHS (20%)

  • Actively contributes to EHS on-site;
  • Establishes a conducive work environment
  • Ensures adherence to specified guidelines, processes, and procedures for the assigned Installation / Commissioning Team;
  • Provides constructive feedback to the project manager / busbar project team for enhancement;
  • Participates in lessons learned sessions;
  • Initiates enhancements related to site activities.

Site installation works (15%)

  • Performs installation works or supervises them.
  • Coordinates Installation / Commissioning tasks carried out by a team of technicians, ensuring alignment with organizational guidelines.

Testing and commissioning (15%)

  • Coordinates on-site equipment deliveries, including quality inspections, in consultation with the assembly team.
  • Assists in the coordination and execution of testing and commissioning activities on site;

Budget (10%)

  • Has a fundamental understanding of contracts and the scope of supply;
  • Expedites additional works as required;
  • Records additional works and coordinates with the project manager / busbar engineers/project team.

Planning (10%)

  • Provides input for site planning (installation and commissioning scope);
  • Schedules the installation tasks for a specific discipline (timeframe, resource allocation, materials, tools, etc.) in collaboration with the assembly team / project manager busbar project team
  • May plan and assign resources from the assembly team
  • Assists in scheduling site assembly team resources.
  • Ensures prompt decisions on unresolved issues, escalating when necessary.

Organization and communication (10%)

  • Engages in daily communication with the employer busbar project team organization
  • Acts as the on-site contact point for customers
  • Leads, develops, and motivates a team of skilled technicians to meet set objectives.
  • Keeps the project manager / busbar project team consistently informed

Technical design (10%)

  • Addresses technical matters with the busbar project team.
  • Ensures compliance with the commissioning scope within specified quality and safety standards;

Project risks and opportunities (5%)

  • Identifies and reports project risks and opportunities;
  • Minimizes failure costs

Information and documentation (5%)

  • Responsible for processing and documenting change requests on site
  • Conducts documentation revisions according to the as-built implementation

What do you need?

Requirements

  • Proficient in English, Dutch proficiency is highly valued
  • Education: MBO in electrical field
  • Professional Experience: 3 years;
  • Project (Site) Experience: 3 years
  • Medium Voltage experience: 2 years

Skill set

  • PC Software and tool proficiency – Basic;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of components and systems
  • Expertise in installation processes
  • Advanced skills in testing and commissioning
  • High level of proficiency in electrical safety
  • Basic understanding of Project Management
  • Entry-level Commercial competence
Arbeidsvoorwaarden

What we offer

  • Rate for freelancers, maximum €67 per hour.
  • Salary for employees under contract with Yacht: €4750 based on full-time, or €1900 based on 6 hours.
  • Working hours: 16 hours per week
  • Location: Veldhoven, at ASML
  • Starting date: flexible, but preferably soon
  • Contract: freelance or via Yacht for the project duration (end date not specified).
