Description

This role requires a Market Specialist in the UK, Ireland and Benelux region.

Key responsibilities include:

Supports the Molecular and Biological Research (MBR) Sales organization in all aspects of the sales cycle Through in-depth knowledge of the market(s), works with sales team to build and execute sales strategic plans. Drives new business by continually identifying and building relationships with key customers and partners. Being a market and subject matter expert in biopharma for key techniques areas such as CRISPR, NGS, transcriptomics. Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in sales activities. Presents the DGG and Agilent portfolio to customers at events including international conferences. Works collaboratively with different teams from Agilent to identify, develop and run projects with selected customers Works with the Business Unit during all phases of product launches and EA activities. Creates, monitors and revises market requirements for end markets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent in Biological/Molecular/biochemical sciences is required. Post-graduate degree would be beneficial but not required. Typically, at least 4+ years relevant experience in a field sales or a field sales support role will be needed for this role. This role should expect at least 25% travel
