In this role you will facilitate development of thebusiness / facility maintenance strategy.
You willsolve reliability and availability losses through application ofreliability technology. By using tools to enable to meet it'sbusiness plan on the plant and therefore the customer'sneed.
This result is achieved by focusing on thoseopportunities that over a long-term period or historically hasimpacted the plant's measured asset capability and theopportunities identified as "high-risk" in risk assessments,reliability models, etc.
Main responsibilityare:
Create, modify, improve and implementequipment reliability strategies for 7 plastic trains.
In addition responsible for :
• Achievesplant Equipment Reliability Strategies targets.
•Creates Equipment Reliability Strategies based upon Top OpportunityList, Critical Equipment List, and identified plant/business needs: failure modes analysis, preventive and maintenance programrevision, spare revision, procedures creation.
•Evaluates effectiveness of individual aspects of the Preventive andPredictive Maintenance (PPM) program by showing quantitatively theimpact of failures and PPM.
• Facilitates and/orcontributes greatly to driving proactive PPM Optimizationactivities to support overall productivity improvements.
• Uses reliability engineering principles and tools toincrease Asset Capability and Asset Mechanical Reliability.
• Participates in plant health study and efforts to implementcorrective action to maintain or improve plant health.
•Develops maintenance operating discipline.
• Providestechnical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures,repairs, and evaluating whether equipment is designed to meet itsintended or existing service conditions.
• Supports thepreventive maintenance coordinator, as required, in reviewing spareparts list for existing equipment.
• Completes EH&Sorientation and all required training. Exhibits safe work behaviorsand works safely without injury or insult to the environment.Fulfills all requirements of the production area and/or maintenancearea EH&S.
• Gives support toturnarounds.
• ABachelor or Master Degree in Chemical Engineering, MechanicalEngineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or MaterialScience / Metallurgical Engineer.
• Root CauseInvestigation Training certificate.
• Fluent use ofDutch and English language.
• Experience in chemicalindustry as operations engineer, maintenance engineer orreliability engineer is required().
•VCA-VOL.
