We're looking for a Quality Controller to join our team in Poeldijk, Netherlands

This is a day shift role, working a continental shit pattern
As a Quality Controller at our organisation, you'll play a vital role in upholding our commitment to excellence.

From inspecting fruit upon arrival to conducting sampling activities, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct quality checks on incoming fruit to ensure compliance with specifications, using standardized tools.
• Document inspection findings, generate reports, and escalate critical issues for prompt resolution.
• Collect, prepare, and test fruit samples for basic quality assessment.
• Monitor and report yield and defect data for analysis and improvement.
• Assist in developing new QC technologies and manage fruit for R&D projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain consistent quality standards.
• Support the technical team with various quality control tasks as required.
• Ensure adherence to regulations and maintain consistent product quality.
• Prioritize health, safety, and hygiene standards for yourself and others, which may include physical tasks.

Requirements

Essential

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify potential quality issues during inspections.
• Some form of experience handling or inspecting perishable goods.
• Able to carry out sometimes physically demanding tasks.
• A demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Desirable

• Prior experience in a quality control or related role, preferably within the fresh produce industry.
• Proven experience in conducting inspections of incoming raw materials according to established quality standards and procedures.
• Experience with using basic quality control tools.
• A strong understanding of quality control principles and their application in a fastpaced environment.
