Als Accounting Professional ben je
samen met de collega's het financiële geweten van de Siemens groep in
Nederland. Je fungeert als Business partner voor de enerzijds de business
(financieel management, controllers) en anderzijds de centrale accounting
organisatie binnen Siemens.

Jij bent als Accounting
professional de aanspreekpartner voor 1 of meerdere Siemens companies in
Nederland. Je bent hier verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen van de jaarrekening
en het begeleiden van een eventuele accountantscontrole op de jaarrekening. Daarnaast
zie je toe op een juiste en volledige weergave van de maandcijfers in
samenwerking met de business en het Accounting Shared Service Center. "Clean
book and records" is een key prioriteit binnen Siemens en is voor de accounting
afdeling dan ook de belangrijkste doelstelling.

In de groeiende wereld van
digitalisering wordt van jou een bijdrage verwacht in de ondersteuning van het
werken met nieuwe rapportagetools en dashboards. Data trends analyseren,
interpreteren en adviseren op basis van systemen en tooling om business
processen en strategieën te ondersteunen. Kortom, je bent een kritische- en
proactieve businesspartner voor de organisatie.

Je komt te werken bij Siemens
International Holding die aandeelhouder is van veel Siemens ondernemingen
wereldwijd. De afdeling ondersteunt daarnaast ook de accounting van
verschillende Siemens ondernemingen in Nederland wat naast Holdings ook bestaat
uit veelal grote ondernemingen die het Siemens portfolio vanuit Nederland op de
lokale en internationale markt verkopen.

Een greep uit de dagelijkse
verantwoordelijkheden?

Je bent betrokken bij de
maandafsluiting. Naast dat je zelf een aantal zaken administratief verwerkt ben
je aanspreekpartner voor de business en zie je er op toe dat de afsluiting
volgens planning en zonder onregelmatigheden verloopt.

Na de afsluiting dragen wij zorg
voor de managementrapportages voor een deel van de Siemens ondernemingen waar
de afdeling support aan levert. Ook het verzorgen van de externe rapportages
naar het CBS wordt door de afdeling verzorgt.

Alhoewel het bulk van het
accounting werk vanuit het shared service center wordt gecoördineerd liggen de
wat complexere vraagstukken veelal bij jouw op het bordje. Hoe de facturatie en
omzetverantwoording in te richten bij een stil consortium? Welke assets en
tegen welke waarde dienen mee genomen te
worden bij een carve out? Hoe de personeelsverplichtingen te administreren bij
de invoering van een benefits budget? Het zijn een aantal voorbeelden waar je
in de praktijk zomaar mee te maken kunt krijgen.

Je bent geschikt als je

• Bachelor of Master
  in Finance and Control
• Kennis van IFRS/Dutch GAAP
• Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie.
• Analytisch bent en de analyse helder kan communiceren aan je
  collega's.
• Een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal hebt in woord
  en geschrift.
• Goede kennis van IT-systemen zoals SAP en MS office (met name Excel);

Je hebt een streepje voor als je

• Ervaring hebt met de (interne) audit of de samenstelling van
  jaarrekeningen van middelgrote/grote ondernemingen
• Gedreven bent in Data Analytics en gevoel hebt bij automatisering van financiële
  processen en rapportages (RPA, Power BI)

As
Accounting Professional you are together with colleagues the financial
conscience of the Siemens group in the Netherlands. You function as a business
partner for the business (financial management, controllers) and the central
accounting organization within Siemens.

As
Accounting professional you are the contact person for 1 or more Siemens
companies in the Netherlands. You are responsible for the preparation of the
annual accounts and the supervision of a possible audit of the annual accounts.
You will also oversee the correct and complete presentation of the monthly
figures in cooperation with the business and the Accounting Shared Service
Center. "Clean book and records" is a key priority within Siemens and is
therefore the main objective for the accounting department.

In the
growing world of digitization, you will be expected to contribute in supporting
working with new reporting tools and dashboards. Analyze data trends, interpret
and advise on systems and tooling to support business processes and strategies.
In short, you are a critical- and proactive business partner for the
organization.

You will be
working at Siemens International Holding which is a shareholder of many Siemens
companies worldwide. The department also supports the accounting of several
Siemens companies in the Netherlands which, besides Holdings, also consists of
mostly large companies which sell the Siemens portfolio on the local and
international market.

Some of the
daily responsibilities?

You are
involved in the monthly closing. Besides processing a number of matters
administratively, you are the contact person for the business and you see to it
that the closing goes according to plan and without irregularities.

After the
closing we take care of the management reports for a part of the Siemens
companies the department supports. The department also takes care of the
external reporting to the CBS.

Although
the bulk of the accounting work is coordinated from the shared service center,
the more complex issues are often your responsibility. How to organize the
invoicing and revenue recognition for a silent consortium? Which assets and at
what value should be included in a carve out? How to administer the personnel
obligations when introducing a benefits budget? These are a number of examples
that you can encounter in practice.

You are
suitable if you have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance and Control
• Knowledge
  of IFRS/Dutch GAAP
• At least
  3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Are
  analytical and can clearly communicate the analysis to your colleagues.
• A good
  command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
• Good
  knowledge of IT systems such as SAP and MS office (especially Excel);

You have an
advantage if you:

• Have
  experience with the (internal) audit or compilation of financial statements of
  medium/large companies
• Driven in
  Data Analytics and have a feel for automation of financial processes and
  reporting (RPA, Power BI)
