As a Data Domain Steward/Data Consultant at Schiphol, you play a vital role in advancing data-driven initiatives towards the vision of an Autonomous Airport, connecting the Netherlands globally.

Your expertise in managing metadata, data quality, and analytics within the Data & Analytics department is instrumental.

Your tasks include:
Establishing and enforcing data policies.
Negotiating and implementing Data Delivery Agreements for data sources.
Managing metadata and relationships in the Enterprise Data Catalog and Business Vocabulary.
Monitoring data quality, identifying crucial data elements, and providing solutions for any deviations.
Overseeing the resolution of data quality issues, coordinating improvement efforts, and developing data management methodologies.
Leading data awareness and education initiatives.

In this role, you should possess strong analytical, stakeholder management, organizational, and communication skills

Additionally, you should have:
A background in business information management, data governance, or analytics.
Minimum 3 years of relevant data experience in roles such as data steward or analyst.
Expertise in data quality, analysis, process management, DQ rules, and tools like Collibra.
Proficiency in English and Dutch.
Certification in DAMA DMBOK or DCAM, or the willingness to obtain it.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

A competitive salary between €4,743 and €6,581 for 36 hours a week (scale 12), based on your skills and experience.

About the Team
Data plays a crucial role in optimizing our daily operations at Schiphol.

As part of the Data Management & Governance team, you will:

Act as a Data Domain Steward, focusing on one of Schiphol's business domains, leading metadata curation, data quality enhancements, and issue resolutions.

Function as a Data Consultant, contributing to enhancing data management practices, raising business awareness, and providing advice on data strategy alignment.
