Subcontract Administrator

Nouvall Engineering Services is a company specializing in providing project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industry. Their expertise lies in Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction, and Safety.

We are looking for a Subcontract Administrator (or Senior Quantity Surveyor) to join our team at a construction site in Terneuzen, The Netherlands. As a key team member, you will be responsible for administering various construction contracts, including Steel Structures Erection and Mechanical Works. The ideal candidate will work in a diverse team environment and report to the Subcontract Administration Manager.

• Participate in Kick-off meetings to inform subcontractors about administration procedures.
• Review and approve Contractor's progress payment certificates.
• Negotiate and approve Contractor's additional compensation requests and issue relevant Change Orders.
• Organize weekly subcontracting meetings and maintain records of commercial discussions.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements for unit rate accounting and extra works.
• Update monthly reports on subcontract administration activities.

Functie-eisen

• Hold an Engineering or technical degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in Subcontracts and Subcontracts Administration.
• Proficient in written and spoken English (Dutch proficiency is a plus).
• Strong experience in MS Office programs, especially with complex Excel files.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in integrated teams on complex projects.
• Experience in supervising Quantity Surveyors.
• Eligible to work in the European Union.
• Available to work on-site at construction locations.
