As a Stakeholder and Capacity Manager within Operations, you will be responsible for coordinating the airport's capacity on a strategic and tactical level. And how you approach this? That's up to you. We rely on your ability to connect with others. You will use your talents to:

  • Represent Schiphol at a senior level from your role within Airport Operations in discussions with airlines, the slot coordinator ACNL, and internal Schiphol regarding capacity developments. You will also be the go-to person and advisor for Schiphol's management
  • Develop ways for Schiphol to work together with chain partners to further optimize the airport's capacity utilization and lead specific optimization projects
  • Collaborate as the chair of the Slot Performance Committee in an international team including airlines, airports, ACNL, and air traffic control LVNL to make the best use of available slot capacity at Dutch airports
  • Represent Schiphol, along with your S&AP colleagues, in the 'Coordination Committee', a forum where Schiphol's capacity is formally consulted at least twice a year by the airlines operating at Schiphol
  • As a Capacity and Stakeholder Manager within the Operations department, you are the key representative to airlines and coordinate extensively with colleagues in the operation and the Strategy & Airport Planning (S&AP) department. In this role, you work with all levels of the organization, from operations to the boardroom

You've got this

  • An ideally completed university education
  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience in aviation operations, specifically in network, transport, and/or capacity management (essential)
  • Experience with (airport) slots, airport processes is a plus, as well as boardroom experience
  • Persuasiveness: you can motivate people and processes at the management/director level
  • Communication in both Dutch and English. Proficiency in both languages is essential
  • Team spirit, sense of perspective, and a good amount of humor

Airport Operations & Aviation Partnerships From the moment a passenger leaves home until the plane takes off: we ensure a pleasant and safe departure for all passengers. In close collaboration with you, about 1000 other colleagues, 140 airlines, and various handlers, we streamline the processes from A to Z. For example, we ensure there is a colleague ready to assist passengers with reduced mobility, from the parking lot to the gate. And that there are enough baggage belts available. Even during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and delays. Together, we work every day on a robust department with a responsible and reliable airport process.
