The Global Supply Chain Control (GSC) team is looking to hire a new Financial Controller.

In this role you will be responsible for financial reporting for GSC at Head Office, performance reporting & governance cycle.


Role

  • Financial reporting: a) Manage FP&A/RtR/OtC/PtP finance processes in close collaboration with HGSS and Global finance departments in case of specific accounting topics. b) Responsible for period end close of GSC HO financials P&L, balance sheet, FTE and Capex.
  • Governance cycle a) Leads the governance cycle for GSC Head Office and makes sure a smooth AP, SP and RightofFirst-Offer processes is in place including signoff by GSC Head Office Management Team. b) Works closely together with function directors to discuss and challenge their AP, SP and RoFo input.
  • Management reporting a) Makes sure that management reports are send out timely to SC Head Office Management Team b) Makes sure required Cash In Lieu datasets are sent On-TimeIn-Full.
  • Lead cost savings project a) Identifies cost saving opportunities to discuss with Head Office Management Team and transfer those as concrete saving initiative in SNOW. b) Report out on saving progression actuals, AP and SP c) Makes sure that cost consciousness mindset increases further in Supply Chain Head Office.
  • Business cases a) Support, build and track together with functions business cases for the Tech department enabled solutions
  • Adhoc support team in case of adhoc requests

Responsibilities

  • Education: Degree / Master in business economics or accounting & control. Studying for RA or RC. Thorough knowledge of business economical processes
  • Work experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in Finance, with solid knowledge of backoffice finance and cross functional planning & control experience
  • Required work experience in field of expertise: Demonstrated experience in business control (with preference in Supply Chain function), financial control and/or FP&A
  • Other fields of expertise: Experience of working within a multinational matrix style environment is valuable and process design (FP&A) is a pre.
  • Functional skills: Finance knowledge, Analytical, Experience with SAP, strong communicator, Think cell knowledge (a pre)
  • Languages: English (excellent verbal & written skills)
  • Communication skills: Strong communication skills are essential in order to manage relationships on a strategic and tactical level with a broad range of senior stakeholders across the business. Must be able to operate and communicate effectively in a complex environment
  • Other skills: Building collaborative relationships, people management, change management, influencing skills, drive process improvements
