Education and Student Affairs

Within Wageningen University & Research (WUR), 'Education and Student Affairs' (ESA) is the central department responsible for strategic, policy, operational, and support tasks in the field of education.

The department provides services to (prospective) students and teachers of WU and supports the implementation of education. The Student Service Centre (SSC) is part of ESA.

Student Service Centre
The SSC plays an important role within Wageningen University. It is the helpdesk for students studying at WUR. The SSC provides students with information on topics such as enrollment, admission, or tuition fees. Students can also turn to the SSC for advice on studying with a disability, study delays, or exchanges abroad.

Additionally, the SSC is responsible for the general introduction days, deals with diversity policies, and provides (financial) support for student facilities.

We value teamwork and delivering customized solutions for students when needed.

The Annual Introduction Days (AID) are the festive start for new students of Wageningen University and Aeres Hogeschool Wageningen, introducing them to their new living and studying environment.

The AID enables them to build a social network, get to know the city, the educational institution, and the wide variety of associations and organizations in Wageningen.
