:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Operations Specialist to join our diverse team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and guidance to our network operations and maintenance teams. Your expertise in complex software, hardware, and transmission facilities will be essential to ensure efficient network operations. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with network operation and maintenance teams, including analysts, technicians, and engineers. Conduct technical analysis of software, hardware, and transmission facilities using diagnostic tools. Oversee engineering efforts, testing, and evaluation programs, and perform onsite engineering when needed. Manage field services at network sites across Most of the World (MoW), ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery. Coordinate with third-party service providers to deliver a range of field services tasks across multiple sites. Install and manage network equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, HP, Dell, etc.) and cable management racks. Manage cabling installations across various hardware platforms and cable types (Fiber, Coax, Copper). Assist in fault management, including out-of-hours maintenance response. Conduct onsite connectivity testing and inventory management of network components. Update databases and collaborate with multiple AT&T business units and third parties. Generate and review statistical reports using Microsoft Office programs. Ensure policy and compliance requirements are met.Qualifications:
More than 5-7 years of experience in network operations and maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify root causes and implement successful resolutions. Knowledge of networking technologies, design principles, and testing tools. Experience installing networking equipment and cabling (Copper, Coax, and Fiber). Familiarity with cabling systems, adapters, interfaces, and wiring standards. Experience with connectivity testing methodologies and cable media testers. Knowledge of fiber cable installation, testing, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in using ticketing systems, inventory systems, and vendor portals. Excellent collaboration and leadership skills to direct and support third-party service providers. Knowledge of local Telecommunications Carriers standards and practices. Adaptability, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to AT&T Pop locations. (company car provided) Excellent English and local language communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal). Ability to frequently stand, walk, push, pull, bend, reach, and lift (10-50lbs).Working hours: EMEA (approx. from 9.00am until 5.00pm) with some flexibility.
