Description
Collaborate, implement proposals for the head of EF Engineering and staff members regarding data analysis and insights related to process improvements, as well as Business Engineering critical competencies such as resource management, performance management, cycle time, installation cost management and quality.
You will collaborate throughout a broad and complex network of stakeholders across different departments within EUV Factory as well as outside (E.g. Development & Engineering) including interacting at different leadership levels in the organization. You take a leading role in defining direction, creating structure, as well as defining standard work that will ensure sustainable process improvements, while securing data integrity and reliability.
Main responsibilities:
Have a clear vision and understanding of how the Business Engineering competencies should be embedded in own department and how they interconnect with other strategic priorities and running processes at Engineering Be able to make recommendations regarding the improvement projects to be prioritized in the department Work together with the Lean business partner of the Engineering department in order to keep one approach towards driving continuous improvement in the organization in combination with data analytics Define quantitative models to calculate, drive and mature resource management (E.g. capacity resource planning models, analysis of workload drivers), which is critical input to the financial planning process Provide insights regarding critical performance metrics (E.g. quality, cycle time, disturbance notifications) ensuring a Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle, facilitating and driving problem solving analysis/DMAIC methodology and identifying and quantifying improvements Drive and Strengthen the Performance Management Framework across the Engineering organization (including orchestrating the monthly operational performance reviews as well as supporting the underpinning of the Hoshin Kanri / Target Setting cascading process) Support the Breakthrough projects portfolio of the Engineering Department by leading the quantification of business cases as well as definition of other quantitative calculation models and quantitative decision data. Manage business analytics requests of own department (E.g. Dashboards implementation, RPA). Support and advise stakeholders of the Engineering department in the underpinning of requirements, expected business benefits and connection to overall performance aspects Perform benchmark of the execution of Business Engineering competencies beyond own department (e.g. in other factories/ASML organizations or via the Business Engineering competence center) and identify improvements that could lead to Best Known Methods. Prepare presentations for executive managementEducation
Master in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
Experience
Min 7 years of experience in Manufacturing, Service, Supply Chain Engineering, Demand/Supply Planning, Lean or other related functions combining data insights, operations and process improvements Knowledge of production, installation, new product introductions, and service processes in a highly technological environment. Experience with Lean manufacturing, Agile and Continuous Improvement; Six Sigma experience is a plus Change management experience in implementing new ways of working in complex organizations Preference experienced with IT-systems in the area of production-control (Excel, SAP, SAP ME/ BO, Spotfire)Personal skills
Ambitious, pro-active, 'can-do' mentality Strong conceptual skills; is able to navigate through complex process environments; can convert complex (often data driven) matters to clear overviews and insights Dealing with ambiguity; able to work with assumptions, work with complex data sets, and create more clarity in processes where accountability is unclear. Process thinking and strong change management skills to get improvements implemented. Is able to take the lead. Strong communicator; is able to tell a story based on data insights; Self-assured, capable of convincing people, also at higher management levels Language: Strong command of English is a must Can deal with stress Be recognized as trusted Business partnerDiversity and inclusion
