The Schiphol Cyber Security Centre (SCSC) collaborates with colleagues across the organization to strengthen Schiphol's defenses against cyber threats and enhance digital security. Situated within the CIO Office under IT & Data, the team plays a crucial role in safeguarding our operations.

Your Role in Securing Connections

As a Cyber Security Cloud Specialist, you will lead the enhancement of our current Microsoft Defender and Sentinel setup and tools. You will be in charge of implementing automation (SOAR), maintaining data connectors within Microsoft Sentinel, developing use cases and playbooks, conducting day-to-day monitoring and incident response tasks, and meticulously documenting all activities. Additionally, you will be part of the CSIRT team and participate in on-call duties.

We are seeking a passionate team player who is eager to share their expertise in Microsoft technologies and contribute to the evolution of our Security Operations Center.

Your Profile for Success
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Cloud and security products, including Microsoft Defender and Sentinel, along with a broad understanding of Network Security and relevant certifications.
  • Experience in SOC operations as a tier 2 or tier 3 analyst, coupled with a willingness to learn and contribute to the development of use cases and playbooks.
  • Technical expertise in cybersecurity and operational IT management, familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python or PowerShell) and KQL.
