  • We aim to maintain the IT & Data landscape secure and robust. The Schiphol Cyber Security Centre (SCSC) plays a key tactical and strategic role in this mission.
  • You will be part of a team (6+) of Cyber Security Managers. Your main responsibility is to create and implement the cybersecurity risk management process.
  • From travelers to employees: ensuring everyone feels safe, valued, and welcome at Schiphol is of utmost importance.
Building Connections

As a Cyber Security Manager, you will be in charge of developing, maintaining, and promoting the cybersecurity policy. How you achieve this is up to you. We trust your ability to distinguish between key points, draw connections, and apply your skills in:

  • Operational execution of the cybersecurity risk management process by establishing necessary requirements and verifying the implementation of cybersecurity measures.
  • Conducting awareness activities across various security areas and contributing to the security project portfolio.
  • Identifying deviations from the cybersecurity policy and assessing business risks.
  • Evaluating exceptions and findings related to the cybersecurity policy.
  • Assessing developments in new cybersecurity risks and solutions from vendors.

Your responsibilities also include contributing to the security project portfolio and guiding and advising colleagues in cybersecurity matters. The SCSC comprises three subteams:

  1. Cyber Security Management.
  2. Security Operations Centre.
  3. Identity & Access Management.

Furthermore, for this position, you have:

  • HBO-level education or equivalent experience, and a valid CISSP certification, or willingness to obtain CISSP certification within 1 year.
  • Comprehensive and hands-on IT and/or cybersecurity knowledge and experience.
  • Updated knowledge of cybersecurity industry developments and the IT field.
  • The ability to articulate (complex) ideas clearly in verbal and/or written form.
  • Certifications like CISA, CRISC, CISM, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, CCSP, CSSLP are advantageous.
Your Benefits
  • Monthly gross salary ranging from € 5172 to € 7176 (Scale 13).
  • 13th-month salary.
  • Compensation of € 3.00 net per day for remote work.
