Reach your full potential as Food Compliance Officer
The position of Food Compliance Officer is a new position within B&S. This means you get the opportunity to pioneer and leave your mark on our organization's Compliance policy. You'll have the freedom to come up with creative solutions and to implement your ideas. You'll be involved in developing the process and contributing to this important aspect within the organization.
Why is Compliance so important? At B&S, we stand for quality, and only with your help, we can guarantee this quality at all times. It's crucial that our products not only comply with laws and regulations, but also meet the wishes and requirements of customers, suppliers and of course, our own standards.
You ensure that our products are checked in the external laboratory we collaborate with. If anything unusual arises from these tests, you ensure that the correct steps are taken. You need to be quick to respond and always be alert, because within 4 hours, we must have taken the first steps. This may involve, for example, recalling products from this production line. Through close collaboration with Purchase and Sales, you ensure quick action, and any problems are addressed. Of course, prevention of these situations also plays a crucial role in your job.
Your duties also include:
Contacting suppliers to request data and photos of products Keeping track of when certificates expire and ensuring timely renewal Communicating with the laboratory about the criteria for testing Reporting, monitoring, and collecting data to form joint policies Coordinating the labeling process and ensuring that we label in accordance with the laws and regulations of the countries where we sell.This is you

Your attention to detail leaves nothing unnoticed throughout the entire process. You understand the responsibility that comes with your position. With your analytical skills, you systematically approach tasks, emphasizing accuracy even further. Even when you're the bearer of bad news, you know how to remain diplomatic and stand firm when action needs to be taken.

Have a Bachelor's degree level of education Have 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably within Food Safety Have an affinity for food products Are fluent in English and Dutch Are available for 24 to 40 hours per weekWe offer you
