For the European Medicines Agency we are looking for a Platform Analyst in the office of Case Management & Data Integration responsible for:

  • supporting the delivery team in daily operation related to scope and backlog management as well as assignments management. The person in the role will collaborate on daily basis with EMA team as well as a supplier team.

Standard role duties & responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of the agency's delivery methodology and continuous improvement;
  • Provide technical support to the Project Management Specialist / Programme Manager in project/programme planning, progress monitoring and management reporting;
  • Support the business design and process improvement within the related area;
  • Support, organise and coordinate the project team to deliver project objectives within time, resource and budget constraints;
  • Provide support to the Project Management Specialist / Programme Manager in monitoring the project budget and ensures resource plans and forecasts are continually kept up to date and accurate;
  • Organise meetings with relevant operational teams including agendas, meeting logistics, summary and minutes;
  • Coordinate, record and ensure quality compliance and plan for maintenance and end user support;
  • Assist in the monitoring of the formal acceptance on the delivery of the service and its deliverables, in conformance with the provisions of the delivery contract.
  • Assist the Project Management Specialist / Programme Manager in preparing project board / steering group level communication for project governance;
  • Draft and format various documents as required in accordance with EMA style guide principles and using pre-defined Agency templates, as appropriate.
  • Collecting, analysing, and interpreting data related to project performance, budgets, timelines, and resource utilization.
  • Providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and issues that could impact project success. Developing risk mitigation strategies and monitoring risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Assisting in budgeting, tracking project costs, and ensuring adherence to budget constraints. Analyzing cost data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Generating project reports, status updates, and documentation. Communicating project progress, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders and project teams.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitoring project activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements. Performing quality reviews and implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Required: A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma.

Essential requirements:

  • Up to 3 years of full time relevant professional experience;
  • In coordinating and organising projects and / or initiatives;
  • In dealing with internal and external stakeholders, working closely with business stakeholders, business process owners and multi-functional teams.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Knowledge and practice of frameworks (at least one year);
  • Agile way of working;
  • End to End project implementation cycle experience;
  • Good stakeholder management skills;
  • Understand how to collaborate and communicate with global stakeholders.

Salary range:

  • 4564,31 gross per month (5 years of experience,
  • 5164,29 gross per month years of experience)
  • 6.611,15 gross per month (17 years of experience or more)
