  • Define and develop system architecturesfor integrated circuits in ultrasound applications, consideringfactors such as signal processing, beamforming, and imagereconstruction.
  • Translate system requirementsinto technical specifications for IC design anddevelopment.
  • Collaborate with the ASIC team toevaluate and improve the performance of ultrasound ICs throughthorough analysis, simulation, andtesting.
  • Identify opportunities foroptimization in terms of power efficiency, speed, and overallsystem performance.
  • Create and maintaincomprehensive documentation for system architectures, designdecisions, and implementationdetails.
Functie-eisen
  • In-depth knowledge ofultrasound imaging principles, signal processing, and relatedtechnologies.
  • Proven experience in systemarchitecture for ultrasound applications (IC design is aplus).
  • Experience with relevant design toolsand methodologies in the field of integrated circuit design is aplus.
  • BSc, MSc or PhD in Electrical or ComputerEngineering
  • Chip designer with expertise inultrasound architecture, possessing a deep understanding ofultrasound technology and its integration with electroniccomponents.
  • 5+ years of experience focused ondesign architecture, development, and integration oftransistor-level IC design usingCadence.
  • Knowledge of ultrasound imagingtechnology, including ultrasound systems, transducers, wavepropagation, and beamforming.
  • Ability tounderstand ultrasound clinical requirements and translate them intodesign specifications.
  • Experience in defining,detailing, and verifying architectural concepts for front ends incollaboration with the design team.
  • Desirablebut not essential: Knowledge of analog front-end designs,mixed-signal simulations using AMS, experience with IClayout.
