In the Lighting Technology group within research, we continuously work on pushing the boundaries of technology to further improve our HUE product portfolio.

What you'll do:

As a mathematical modelling practitioner in research:

  • You perform an assessment on the potential gain of parallel processing of different tasks of a HUE controller.
  • You will simplify the results of the assessment into simple rules that can be implemented in lamp software.
  • You participate in an R&D project to:
  • embed your results in future lamp designs,
- link the results to the hardware design,
- help optimizing the total chain of hardware design and process optimization.

Your qualifications

  • You are on the way to getting an engineering degree (MSc in mathematics or industrial engineering)
  • You have an analytical mindset. You are able to zoomin into details while being able to zoomout and engage in higher abstraction level discussions.
  • You are capable of identifying key features of complex systems/processes. You are creative and think outofthebox.
