The job profile
As the Finance Director in this tech / SaaS hyper growth scale up you have a very active role and give great energy and insights to the business and relevant stakeholders. It is in your nature to deep dive into the business to truly understand the commercial and operational processes, key metrics, risks and opportunities. You continuously (re) evaluate all depending on business, market and/or regulatory variances to make sure you stay on the ball, manage risk and steer the business forward. You are responsible for building, coaching and improving the small Finance team whilst at the same time managing and optimizing the (financial) end-to-end processes in coordination with the Accounting & Reporting department. In this role, you directly report to the Director of your company and dotted to the Finance Director of the strategic partner.

The ideal candidate
Experience:
- You have a completed a Master's degree in Finance (e.g. Economics, Finance, Econometrics, Business Administration),
- Progressive experience in a (business oriented) senior finance role (i.e. business control, FP&A) within an international (matrix), B2B organization or a top tier consultancy firm;
- Experience in or strong affinity with rapidly growing and/or changing organizations is a big plus;
- Experience with treasury/cashflow/(pre)financing concepts would be an advantage;
- Prior experience optimizing financial and operational processes, implement best practices and controls and utilizing IT innovations;
- Fluent in English, additional European language would be a plus.

- You have the ability to build, lead and motivate a divers and international team;
- You are conceptually strong and capable of quickly providing oversight and structure in complex situations;
- You are a strategic thinker, bring focus and set the right priorities;
- You have an independent, proactive mindset who is in control of the strategy and acts as an inspirational sparring partner for the Management Team;
- You are an authentic and well balanced personality. You are down to earth and act naturally in various settings within the organization. You are a true connector;
- You have an open and curious mind, you are entrepreneurial whilst keeping the needed balance and composure in a fast growing setting.
