If you say Yes I Can then we are looking for you; a cheerful, passionate Front Office Supervisor for the Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West.


As Front Office Supervisor, you will be in charge of the Receptionists on duty. During morning, evening and night shifts, you are the point of contact, planning and coordinating all activities and responding creatively to our guests' wishes. All this to ensure that we can guarantee 100% happy guests. What is the common thread in our work? We are ready as a team 24/7 to welcome, wave goodbye or assist our guests during their stay. Whether at reception, on the phone or in the lobby as the hotel's host, we are all-round and make sure every guest smiles

Besides managing a shift, you are an active coach for the Front Office Team. You invest time in the development of the receptionists and strive to create a working environment where everyone can do their best.

We won't deny that the workload is sometimes high in our department. With 476 hotel rooms and 20 meeting rooms, there is always activity in the hotel and therefore always something to do. Especially on these busy days, the team will have to be able to count on you. As supervisor, you set the right example and encourage cooperation in the department and with other departments. Your leadership style contributes to a motivated team and a pleasant working atmosphere.

Your main tasks and responsibilities are:
  • Running the different shifts independently (morning, evening shifts) and correctly handing over the shift to your colleague Supervisor
  • Coaching the team during all shifts
  • Conducting various types of interviews, such as coaching, evaluation and job interviews.
  • Handling complaints from guests
  • Setting up and working out various projects, such as an upsell programme, internal training etc.
  • Creating a schedule for the entire department

For this vacancy, we are looking for Team Builders with:
  • 1-2 years working experience in Front Office at managerial level in a hotel.
  • Enthusiasm to be part of a lively hotel and a young and informal team.
  • Strong social and communication skills and a great sense of responsibility.
  • Skills in training and motivating a team.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages both verbally and in writing.
