As an Connectivity Design Engineer, you are designing various electronic / electrical products for our lithography machines. You contribute in a multi disciplinary team of architects, designers and integrators during the complete scope of the electronics development. We count on you to collect the requirements from architects and interfacing projects into connectivity designs of our Position Measurements electronics. Typical team sizes are between 5 and 15 FTE.

Job Description

As part of the staff of the EDEV Position Measurement group, the connectivity design engineer is responsible for the following:

  • Team member in an Electronic Development team, contributing to multidisciplinary project deliverables
  • Operates in flexible and dynamic environment in multidisciplinary projects.
  • Close collaboration with E-Architect and Electro Mechanical Engineers during the design phase.
  • Supporting E-Architect and Product Owner by taking ownership on interface agreements and design decisions.
  • Creating diagrams and drawings to specify the electrical interfaces of our modules within the system.
  • Compliancy checks such as derating.
  • Being part of the Design Kick Offs and review processes for the Technical Product Documentations.

Education and experience
  • Bachelor (HBO) in electrical engineering or similar level acquired by working experience
  • Multiple years of experience as electrical designer of electronic/electrical functions.
  • Broad knowledge of electronics in all its aspects: architecture, design and integration
  • Affinity with neighboring disciplines such as physics, mechanics, mechatronics, and software
  • Awareness of the semiconductor standards such as NFPA-70, NFPA-79 and IEC

Within the sector D&E, the cluster Electronic Development (EDEV) is responsible for the definition, realization, and qualification of electronic functions and modules of these products.

The EDEV Group Position Measurement Electronics is responsible for the definition, realization, qualification and integration of electronic functions needed for Position Measurement systems.

The Electrical Integrator will report to the Group Team Lead "Position Measurement Electronics".
