Role and responsibilities

As Operational Control Specialist at PBNL SC, you play a crucial role in overseeing the full end-to-end Request to Pay activities. Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Overseeing the daily activities of our Request to Pay service provider, monitoring processing lead times, performing quality checks, and handling complex cases.
  • Performing operational activities by reviewing and approving Ibuy supplier master data changes.
  • Handling case management for incidents, urgent supplier payments, or payment interruptions.
  • Acting as an intermediary between suppliers, ING Business stakeholders, and service providers for back-office Accounts Payable and Order Desk activities. Responsible for addressing all received queries promptly.
  • Reconciling financial statements and explaining financial movements regarding system transit accounts.
  • Supporting in risk, sox, and system testing activities.

Moreover, we require:

  • Current residency in the Netherlands
  • A Bachelor's degree (or relevant working experience supported by certificates)
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in a service and analytical environment.
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch (for reading emails in both languages)
  • A proactive mindset where you take initiative to improve things without delay.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good analytical abilities to address problems holistically and make connections.
  • The drive to continuously enhance the customer experience.
  • Proactiveness and the ability to anticipate and take independent action when needed for daily improvement.
