What you'll be doing:

• Working as a Marketing Solutions Specialist offers a diverse range of tasks. One day you may be supporting the marketing team with technical issues, while the next day you're collaborating closely with developers to troubleshoot technical problems and projects. Your curiosity drives you to perform technical research and discover innovative solutions.

One morning, a colleague notices an anomaly in the statistics of a subset of our numerous campaigns. Despite high traffic, the conversion rate appears unusually low, puzzling everyone. Your inquisitiveness kicks in, prompting you to delve deeper into the data. Starting with analyzing campaign settings, you then shift your focus to technical aspects, meticulously examining for potential bottlenecks.

After hours of data exploration, tests, and research, you finally uncover a minor technical issue causing the low conversion rate. A missing component in the tracking code resulted in inaccurate click registrations, impacting the performance of the campaigns.

You share your findings with the product and development teams, collectively addressing the situation and devising a solution. Upon implementing the fix, you conduct tests to ensure the component functions correctly, witnessing the campaigns' conversion rates climb back to the desired level alongside the marketers.

As a Marketing Solutions Specialist, your role extends beyond supporting the marketing team, resolving technical issues, conducting research on new projects, and contributing to the success of our campaigns. While each day presents unique challenges, it's this variety that makes your work so engaging.

Here's what we're looking for:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role;
• Minimum HBO level of education;
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to all team members;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Ability to read code and willingness to make minor adjustments, perhaps currently as a hobby but eager to incorporate this into your work;
• Proficiency in testing using various tools;
• Passion for continuous learning and self-driven problem-solving;
• Ability to brainstorm and communicate solutions effectively with colleagues, thinking innovatively to assist them;
• Prior knowledge and experience in Online Marketing & E-commerce is advantageous;
• Ability to propose solutions promptly;
• Thrives in a dynamic environment where every day is different;
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.
