About the Position

We have a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Associate Project Operations Manager Agile to make a significant impact at Kraft Heinz. The role is based in Amsterdam, within a high-achieving team that is always striving for greater heights. You will report to the Sr. Product Manager SCD – Europe. Prepare for substantial exposure to senior stakeholders internally. Your primary role will involve ensuring smooth project operations within our Agile Taste Elevation and Away From Home project. Other duties include overseeing end-to-end project delivery with the cross-functional team, showcasing expertise in supply chain, making autonomous decisions within Agile frameworks, and proactively managing project tasks and backlogs. You are continuously seeking opportunities for enhancement within our Amsterdam Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Supply Chain Expertise Utilize in-depth knowledge of supply chain principles and practices to enhance project operations. Offer insights on supply chain strategies, processes, and best practices to optimize project outcomes.
  • Represent All Operations functions within low to medium complexity projects Act as the primary intermediary between project teams and operations functions, fostering alignment and effective collaboration. Advocate for operations requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Responsible for End-to-End Project Delivery, together with cross-functional team Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of low to medium complexity projects within budget and in line with strategic objectives.
  • Autonomous Decision Making Within Agile Ways of Working Empower cross-functional teams to make independent decisions within Agile frameworks, promoting a culture of accountability and innovation.
  • Managing Project Task Backlog (Action Tracker), Including Time Commitments Prioritize and maintain the project task backlog, ensuring clarity on action items and time commitments.
  • Consolidating Project Inputs from Cross-Functional Team Members Gather and consolidate inputs from cross-functional team members to align with project objectives and timelines. Facilitate efficient communication and collaboration to streamline decision-making and issue resolution.
  • Support in Supply Chain Sourcing Analyses and Proposals Conduct sourcing analysis to identify the optimal factory or external manufacturer for project requirements.
  • Create User Stories for Supply Chain Stakeholders Translate supply chain needs into user stories, ensuring clear communication and alignment with Agile development practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to refine user stories and prioritize backlog items.

Qualifications

Hard Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree;
  • 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain;
  • Understanding of business processes;
  • Effective communicator engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels;
  • Proficiency in English and preferably a second language.

Professional Attributes

  • Practical mindset for executing tasks;
  • Preference for experience in AGILE project delivery;
  • Background in supply chain operations with commercial familiarity;
  • Basic grasp of production processes, risk assessment, and validation of in-house and co-manufacturing processes;
  • Strong, adaptable communication at all levels, adjusting messages based on the audience;
  • Proactive approach anticipating needs rather than reacting.
