Over de functie

In de functie van financieel business partner kom je in een team van ongeveer 20 collega's. Samen werken jullie aan een of meer programma's en voor de directies die hierbij horen. Boeiend, want je leert gaandeweg veel over waar het programma waarvan 'jouw' directie onderdeel is en de uitdagingen waarvoor jouw collega's staan om Amsterdam nog beter, veiliger, socialer en mooier te maken.


We zoeken financieel business partners voor onder andere de volgende domeinen/clusters:



  • Vastgoed
  • Onderwijs
  • Jeugd en zorg
  • Verkeer en openbare ruimte
  • Wonen
  • Bedrijfsvoering
  • Werk en participatie

In overleg bepalen we waar jij het beste past. En waar dat ook is, je ontdekt al snel dat het hier om veel meer dan cijfers gaat. Jij en je collega-financials denken mee over hoe we beleidsdoelen kunnen bereiken. Je analyseert bijvoorbeeld niet alleen wat het kost om stadsloketten langer open te houden, maar ook wat dit betekent voor de gemeentelijke begroting. Jouw analyses vertaal je naar inzichtelijke verhalen, in begrijpelijke taal voor niet-financials. Zo kun je besluitvorming beïnvloeden.


Al in een vroeg stadium van een strategisch proces ben jij uitgenodigd aan de beleidstafel. Soms is het nodig om weerstand te overwinnen. Zelfs dwars te liggen. Natuurlijk wel met tact en inlevingsvermogen. Je bent echt een partner van jouw directie en bouwt dus een goede relatie met budgethouders op. En jij weet waar je het voor doet: een financieel gezonde hoofdstad.

Wat we bieden

De opdracht van Financieel Business Partner kan ingevuld worden op basis van projectdetachering (een dienstverband bij USG Finance) of via een ZZP-constructie. Het betreft een tijdelijke fulltime opdracht.

Functie-eisen

Voor de functie van financieel business partner is het vereist om minimaal 5 jaar ervaring te hebben met het formuleren van tactische en strategische financiële adviezen.


Verder beschik je over:



  • Wo-niveau op basis van opleiding of ervaring;
  • Ervaring met een P&C-cyclus;
  • Gemeentelijke ervaring is een pré.

Belangrijke competenties:



  • Overtuigingskracht, die je inzet om te zorgen dat jouw adviezen worden overgenomen.
  • Omgevingsbewustzijn: je begrijpt de context van je gesprekspartners en bouwt aan goede relaties waardoor jouw eerlijke advies gewaardeerd wordt. Geef je bijvoorbeeld een negatief advies of wordt er iets gevraagd wat je niet kunt leveren? Dan bekijk je hoe je diegene wél kan helpen.
  • Analytisch vermogen: de vraagstukken waarover jij je buigt zijn complex en gaan over grote bedragen en serieuze impact. Goede analysevaardigheden zijn dan ook een must.
