Finance & Procurement Manager Dutch and English

The Finance & Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the school's financial management, procurement processes, and compliance. Working closely with the Head of School and the Regional CFO, this role supports both strategic and operational goals by maintaining sound financial practices, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring accountability in all transactions.Financial ManagementDevelop, manage, and monitor the annual budget with the Head of School and Regional Finance teamTrack financial performance and implement corrective actions as neededManage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure stabilityPrepare and present accurate financial reports for internal and external stakeholdersEnsure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policiesSupport the Regional CFO in audits, financial analysis, and reporting obligationsMaintain accurate financial and HR-related data (payroll, benefits, staffing budgets)Procurement and Resource ManagementOversee and implement procurement procedures in line with group and regional policiesManage the full procurement cycle: sourcing, supplier evaluation, tendering, and contract managementEnsure transparency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance in all purchasing activitiesMaintain vendor database and timely renewal of service agreementsCollaborate with departments to anticipate supply needs and support strategic purchasing decisionsAdministrative and Compliance OversightMaintain accurate, organized, and auditable financial and procurement recordsEnsure adherence to legal, fiscal, and institutional compliance standardsSupport the Head of School in monitoring effective use of financial and material resourcesLiaise with auditors, banks, suppliers, and external partners as neededStrategic and Operational SupportProvide financial insights and analysis to guide strategic decision-making and resource planningIdentify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement across finance and procurementContribute to the school's long-term financial sustainability through planning and risk managementStay updated on developments in finance, procurement, and compliance relevant to education and the local market Requirements Profile and CompetenciesDegree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related fieldProfessional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plusMinimum of 3 years of experience in finance and/or procurement, preferably in an international or educational environmentStrong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, procurement processes, and financial systemsExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsHigh level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detailProficiency in English and Dutch is a must; French is a plus Benefits A direct contract from our clientTuition Discount: After working for a year, employees receive 100% exemption from enrollment fees and a 90% discount on annual tuition fees for their children.Competitive salary1 full month off during the summer break and an additional 2-3 weeks during other school holidays.
