To realize this mission, we are looking for additional support. As a Junior Financial Controller, you will be a valuable addition to our financial team.
Job Summary
As a Junior Financial Controller at easyHotel BENELUX, you will play a supportive role in maintaining accurate financial administration, primarily focusing on the balance sheet. You will be involved in preparing and analysing the financial administration of several hotels and ensuring that processes are effectively executed. Your contributions will ensure that the financial obligations are dealt with, supporting the overall financial health of the company..
Key Responsibilities
• Optimize and implement processes to ensure financial integrity and the delivery of accurate financial reports.
• Perform month-end closings and prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet reports.
• Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Timely preparation and submission of compliance filings (external reporting).
• Analyse balance sheet results and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
• Managing the bank and other balance sheet reconciliations. Qualifications and Experience
• Educational background in Accountancy or Business Economics.
• Preferably 2 years of experience as a controller or accountant, preferably in an international setting.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with Sage X3 is a plus. Skills and Competencies
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Data-savvy and able to handle large amounts of data efficiently.
• Adaptable, stress-resilient, and capable of navigating a dynamic environment.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach.
• Always seeking new knowledge and learning opportunities.
• Team-oriented with a professional attitude.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Dutch.
