About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Controller to join our team at Aegon Asset Management. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration of AAM NL and related AAM entities, as well as being involved in the monthly/quarterly closing process of those entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the financial operations of AAM NL and related entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide financial support to the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Collaborate with the Global Business Control function to provide management information to the AAM's Global business.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in business administration, accounting, finance or other relevant studies.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proven experience in financial operations and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Good understanding of financial systems and processes.
