Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Aegon Asset Management. As a key member of our Finance & Control department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration of AAM NL and related AAM entities in the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the general ledger, accounts receivable & payable, and monthly closing processes.
- Prepare and review financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide financial support and guidance to the business, including analysis and interpretation of financial data.
- Develop and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance financial operations.
- Collaborate with the Global Business Control function to provide management information and support to the AAM Global business.
- Bachelor or Master degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 0-3 years of relevant working experience in financial operations or a related field.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
