About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Controller to join our Asset Management team at Goldman Sachs. As a Fund Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial control and reporting obligations of our global, regulated, and public financial institution are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight and review of Fund Administrators, including review of Net Asset Values (NAVs), service levels, and other projects
  • Management of fund/share class launches and closures, as well as other initiatives
  • Budget and expense oversight and reconciliation
  • Oversight and review of Financial Statements
  • Dividend Distribution Calculation
  • Preparing analytical reports for Management, Fund Boards, and other stakeholders
  • Coordination with Fund Administrators
  • Development/enhancement of systems and applications
  • Proactively seeking opportunities to improve our workflows, application of technology, and the integrity of reporting information

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance (such as business economics or accountancy) with asset management industry experience essential
  • Able to demonstrate technical accounting knowledge in your current area of expertise
  • Experience in preparation of audited financial statements
  • A track record of improving processes and adding value to clients/stakeholders
  • Proven history of working to and achieving strict deadlines
  • Dutch speaking is an advantage
