The Quality Management & Assurance (QMA) department is part of the ASML corporate Quality & Excellence (Q&E) organization. Q&E is responsible for the ASML quality strategy, quality management structures to meet our customers’ expectations, the ASML quality management system, and the operational excellence framework.

Job Mission
ASML business models and the fast growth in terms of business and organization drive the need for quality assurance and controls means and methods that support the business to satisfy our customers’ needs and reduce waste. The QMA department owns and continuously improves the ASML Quality Management System (QMS) and is responsible for providing assurance that ASML’s QMS and business processes are capable of assuring quality in our products and services, whilst maintaining compliancy with among others the ISO:9001 standard.
As Quality Assessor & Lead Auditor, you are responsible for planning and executing part of the Quality Assessment Program and part of the Quality Audit Program. You will perform assessments and audits, using these to provide guidance to ASML business process owners. This guidance in related to capabilities and compliance in the context of processes and quality controls and also ensures maintaining compliance within the ISO:9001 certification framework. By doing so, you will drive maturing the business process framework, continuously improving the QMS and ultimately enhancing the quality performance of ASML.
Job Description
The Quality Assessor & Lead Auditor is responsible for:
- Executing and reporting out on Quality Assessments and 2nd line ISO:9001 Quality Assurance Audits.
- Performing stakeholder management and communication related to Quality Assessments, Quality Audits and related improvements. Supplying input and assistance in optimizing the means & methods and ways of working.
- Maintaining alignment between audit and assessment activities, securing the right ownership of related observations and associated follow-up actions.
- Contributing to the global quality management & assurance competence center, specifically related to quality assessments and quality audits (standards, trainings, capabilities, etc.).
- Supporting compliance related activities related to our ISO:9001 certificate.
Education
Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science or Management Sciences.
Experience
- A thorough understanding of and experience with quality management concepts and principles (e.g., APQC, TQM) and audit and assessment methodologies (i.e., ISO, EFQM, CMMI, etc.) and their application towards in a mature quality management system.
- Seniority and experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, Quality Assessments, documentation control.
- 10+ years working experience preferably at high-tech companies, working with complex processes and products.
- Audit and assessment experience, preferably in a high-tech industry and using known methodologies.
Professional skills
- Certified Lead Auditor or equivalent auditing / assessment / consultancy experience – able to independently use audit, assessment and/or consulting techniques.
- In depth knowledge and understanding of International Quality Standards e.g., ISO19011, ISO9001, IATF16949.
- Broad knowledge of assessing, auditing and implementing quality tools, means and methods.

- Sector Quality leaders and quality functions.
