De Supervisor van LuminAir (ook bekend als "The Bar above Amsterdam") is verantwoordelijk voor de bediening van de bar en het aansturen van het team, waaronder kelners/bedienden, gastheren/gastvrouwen en ploegleiders om een uitzonderlijke klantervaring te creëren. Tot de belangrijkste taken behoren het toezicht houden op het team en zorgen voor een hoog serviceniveau in de bar om een uitstekende gast- en ledenervaring te bieden en tegelijkertijd de consistentie, het serviceniveau en de tevredenheid van de teamleden te bewaken. Dit is een belangrijke rol in het team, zeker gezien het feit dat de rooftop bar & terras een volledige renovatie, rebranding en herpositionering heeft ondergaan met opening voor het publiek op 30 juni 2023.


Onze nieuwe rooftop bar & terras LuminAir zal een inspirerende bestemming zijn van dag tot avond in een steeds veranderende ruimte: Het uitzicht buiten en de omgeving binnen zullen nooit twee keer hetzelfde zijn. LuminAir is een drankgelegenheid, met mixologie van wereldklasse, conceptdrankjes en presentaties gebaseerd op lucht en luchtelementen. Het foodmenu zal bestaan uit moderne Nederlandse en internationale bites, fingerfood en sharing plates, terwijl het Eclipse-menu - voor (semi)besloten evenementen van 30 tot 300 gasten - zal bestaan uit moderne canapés, tafelhapjes, barbites en cocktaildiners.

BELANGRIJKSTE VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN

Als Supervisor LuminAir zul je:

1. Uitzonderlijke klantervaringen

  • Verantwoordelijkheid nemen voor de serviceverlening in jouw afdeling om uitzonderlijke klantervaringen te bieden, te anticiperen op de behoeften van klanten en ervoor te zorgen dat de servicevolgorde consistent en efficiënt wordt gevolgd.
  • Je kent je menu's en dagspecialiteiten tot in detail, zodat jij en je team klanten kunnen adviseren over gerechten, ingrediënten, porties, dranken en wijnarrangementen
  • Ervoor zorgen dat voedselallergieën en dieetwensen met absolute ernst worden behandeld door alle teamleden in jouw afdeling.
  • Bijdragen aan het behalen van de omzetdoelstellingen van het restaurant door upselling en persoonlijke aanbevelingen aan klanten.
  • Communiceer effectief met het culinaire team en het barteam zodat alle bestellingen correct zijn, goed gepresenteerd worden en op tijd geleverd worden.
  • Voer klanttevredenheidscontroles uit, onderneem snel actie om de service te verbeteren en klachten op te lossen, en ondersteun je team waar nodig.


2. Geweldige werkomgeving

  • Ondersteun, train en ontwikkel je team en creëer een inclusieve omgeving waarin alle teamleden zich kunnen ontplooien.
  • Je geeft informatieve en motiverende shift briefings en deelt nuttige updates en feedback.
  • Wijs dagelijks werk toe, zorg ervoor dat elk teamlid zich bewust is van zijn verantwoordelijkheden en houd toezicht op de prestaties tijdens de dienst.

3. Dagelijkse essentie

  • Zorg ervoor dat jij en je team alle voorschriften en normen strikt naleven, inclusief gezondheid, veiligheid en hygiëne.
  • Maak je afdeling klaar voor de dienst en zorg ervoor dat de apparatuur, het gastengedeelte en de werkruimten schoon en netjes blijven tijdens de dienst.
  • Zorg ervoor dat alle transacties nauwkeurig worden geregistreerd in het POS-systeem op het moment van de bestelling, dat er nauwkeurig wordt gefactureerd en dat de omgang met contant geld voldoet aan de richtlijnen van het hotel.
  • Assisteren bij het bijhouden en aanvullen van de inventaris.
  • Feedback en suggesties geven aan het barleidingsteam om de ervaringen van gasten en teamleden te verbeteren.


Wie zoeken we?

We zoeken iemand met een passie voor bars en minstens 1 jaar ervaring in een soortgelijke functie of afgestudeerd aan de Hotelschool met een managementstage in een restaurant- of baromgeving met hoge volumes.

  • Klantgerichtheid, het handhaven van de hoogste normen van authentieke service om elke keer memorabele ervaringen te creëren.
  • Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden om contact te maken met diverse klanten en informatie duidelijk te delen.
  • Goed kunnen samenwerken en een positieve houding hebben
  • Flexibiliteit en aanpassingsvermogen, in staat om effectief te werken in een snelle omgeving terwijl je kalm en geconcentreerd blijft onder druk.

De perfecte kandidaat spreekt vloeiend Engels (Nederlandse taalvaardigheid is een voordeel).
