N-Sea is on the lookout for a Project EHS Advisor to support our IRM team in delivering impactful projects You will preferably have an extensive background in offshore inspection, repair, and maintenance, and experience in supporting and delivering diving and subsea projects in the European and North Sea sectors.


As a Project EHS Advisor at N-Sea, you will play an important role in promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety project procedures to ensure compliance with our clients, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for our Inspection, Repair, and Maintenance (IRM) business unit across the project portfolio, ensuring coordination, effective communication, and alignment of IRM activities.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of Project EHS procedures, including but not limited to EHS Plans, Emergency Response, and Notification Procedures.
  • Lead and facilitate HAZID, HAZOP, and HIRA assessments in accordance with project risk management procedures along with key project team members.
  • Conduct regular vessel and project safety audits and inspections.
  • Provide EHS training and support to project directors and teams.
  • Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate EHS risks.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in EHS practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Environmental Health and Safety or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Project EHS-facing role in the subsea or offshore industry with extensive knowledge of surface-supplied air diving.
  • Previous experience as a commercial offshore diver is advantageous.
  • Offshore certification (BOSIET/GWO) is preferable.
  • Well-versed in subsea industry best practices and guidelines, e.g., IMCA, and a strong understanding of EHS regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
