Wat ga je doen?

In deze rol werk je nauw samen met de verschillende afdelingshoofden (zoals Human Resources, Health Safety & Environment, Compliance en Sustainability) die relevant zijn voor de ESG-rapportages en daarnaast met onze afdeling Corporate Accounting & Reporting. Het doel is om duurzaamheidsrapportages conform de Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) op te stellen die wij gebruiken om daadwerkelijk verbeterslagen te maken op het gebied van duurzaamheid. Je hebt veel ruimte om zelf invulling te geven aan jouw rol.

Wij gaan steeds verder in onze oplossingen voor emissieloos bouwen, circulair materiaalgebruik en we houden een kritisch oog op onze interne organisatie op het gebied van (sociale) veiligheid. Jouw werk doet ertoe en helpt Ballast Nedam de bedrijfsvoering te optimaliseren, verspilling te voorkomen en innovaties toe te passen.

Voor jou, als manager ESG Reporting vallen er verschillende projecten onder je op het gebied van van informatieverzameling en inhoudsontwikkeling. In overleg met onze directeur Corporate Social Responsibility, prioriteer je de projecten waar jij verantwoordelijk voor bent. Met een resultaatgerichte werkhouding geef je op autonome wijze leiding aan deze projecten. Hiervoor beschik je over een klein team van ESG-specialisten en adviseurs dat onder jouw leiding staat.

Wij zijn een Nederlands bouwbedrijf dat onderdeel uitmaakt van een internationale holding en wereldwijd aan vooruitstrevende bouwprojecten werkt. Dit betekent dat je op internationaal niveau samenwerkt, met alle plezierige en soms taaie uitdagingen die dat met zich meebrengt. Ballast Nedam is niet beursgenoteerd, wat ons snel wendbaar en slagvaardig maakt. Wij behoren sinds jaar en dag tot de top 10 Nederlandse Bouwbedrijven. Met onze ervaring, omvang en scope leveren wij een belangrijke bijdrage aan de ontwikkeling van de bouwsector wereldwijd

Een samenvatting van jouw werkzaamheden:

  • Ontwikkelen en implementeren van ESG-strategieën: Het opstellen van beleidslijnen en strategieën om de duurzaamheid en maatschappelijke verantwoordelijkheid van de organisatie te verbeteren;
  • Rapportage en naleving: Zorgen voor naleving van ESG-rapportagevereisten en regelgeving, zoals de EU CSRD en EU Taxonomie;
  • Samenwerken met interne en externe belanghebbenden: Onderhouden van relaties met verschillende teams binnen de organisatie inclusief onze buitenlandse activiteiten Turkse divisie Rönesans International om ESG-doelstellingen te bereiken;
  • Data-analyse en prestatiemetingen: Gebruik van data en statistieken om de voortgang van ESG-initiatieven te volgen en verbeteringen aan te sturen;
  • Aansturen van het ESG Reporting team.

Wat breng je mee

  • Een afgeronde technische, bedrijfskundige of milieukundige universitaire studie en relevante werkervaring; Bij voorkeur in de bouw of een vergelijkbare projectenorganisatie. Dit mag ook indirect zijn, bijvoorbeeld middels accountancy;
  • Ervaring met rapportage en naleving; Je hebt actuele kennis van ESG-wetgeving en rapportagestandaarden zoals de EU Taxonomy, EU CSRD en GRI-richtlijnen;
  • Projectmanagement ervaring: aantoonbare resultaten met het realiseren van integrale projecten, met het aansturen van een team en samenwerken met verschillende belanghebbenden;
  • Om in deze rol succesvol te kunnen functioneren beheers je de Nederlandse en Engelse taal zeer goed, ben je in staat om te sturen op hoofdlijnen en beschik je over een sterke analytische vaardigheden: Het vermogen om data te analyseren en ESG-prestaties te meten is cruciaal. Dit helpt bij het inventariseren van risico's en kansen binnen de organisatie.
